So if you haven't heard of Rodin Olio Lusso it's a pretty awesome body oil that uses natural oils, such as jojoba oil,  jasmine, and calendula (just to name a few) to moisturize the body and give it a luxurious glow. I must say it does live up to my expectations and works especially well putting it on right after showering. Give it about 15 minutes  and you'll have the softest skin you can imagine! Although since it is so amazing the price is not so amazing so I've been hunting out similar items that leave me with similar results...what I found was these two products:

Aveda Beautifying Composition also uses natural ingredients as well and I find it as close to Rodin leaving you with similar glowing skin and a subtle softness with the help of jojoba and other essential oils.  Also the light aroma does leave you with a calming effect which I love! Aroma therapy, Moisturizing, and beauty  all in a bottle.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil, with the help of vitamin E and other "key ingredients" it aids in scar reduction, hydrating the skin and I find softens as well.  Less is definitely more with this product and could leave you super greasy but with just the right amount will leave you ecstatic!

Final say, I still love the Rodin best and although the Aveda Beautifying Composition came close it only lasted me a month where the Rodin lasted me 3 and if you calculate the prices it pretty much evens out.  The  Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil is an okay alternative price wise but wouldn't be my first, it works well enough and is easily accessible in any drugstore but the sometimes greasy residue overrules the softness it leaves behind. I think its safe to say this one is still a Work in Progress.
